In an age dominated by computer applications and systems, where concepts such as “sustainability,” “inclusion,” and “digitalization” exist, it may seem absurd that the well-being of a rural family can be determined by access to drinking water public service.
After a school year dominated by restrictions, novelties and rapid adaptation to another work environment, the summer holiday brings many outdoor activities, but also in the classroom, carried out in kindergarten for the preschool beneficiaries. And these activities aim both to prepare the children who are going through primary school, and to enjoy the holiday together, a free time that we spend together.
The Tellers Club is the program through which parents of kindergarten children learn to use reading and, implicitly, story books, in their free time with their children.
Primary school pupils, the second and fourth grades, beneficiaries of the project Be part of the community! participate weekly in extra-curricular activities that combine additional training in Romanian language and mathematics with outdoor games, socializing activities and lots of energy.
On April 28 and 29, 2021 ACEDO supplied the first packages of food and hygiene products for the 110 children enrolled in the support programs for access to preschool education in Curcani and Românești.
The project Be part of the community! Integrated services addressed to the local Roma community from Curcani and Românești benefits from a grant of € 772,740 provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through EEA Grants under the Local Development Program.
